2. Information We Collect

The App collects and processes the following categories of information:

a) Information stored locally on your device

• Timer settings (focus and break durations, selected focus mode)
• Task data (titles, categories, completion status)
• Session history (completed Pomodoros, dates, and durations)
• Productivity statistics (streaks, daily/weekly trends)
• Ambient sound preferences and custom audio selections
• Timer style and visual customisations
• Premium entitlement status (via Google Play Billing)

All this data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

b) Information collected automatically (anonymised)

• Device information: Device model, Android version, screen resolution, and system language – used for compatibility and performance optimisation.
• App version: To ensure you are using the latest version and to troubleshoot issues.
• Crash reports: Anonymous diagnostic data, stack traces, and device state at the time of a crash – used to fix bugs and improve stability.
• General usage patterns: Aggregated, non‑identifiable data about feature usage – used to improve the user experience.

c) Information from third‑party services

• Google Play Billing: Purchase and subscription status – used only to unlock Premium features.
• Google AdMob: If you view rewarded ads in the free version, AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location (based on IP), and interaction data. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
• Google Play Services & Integrity API: Used for app distribution, fraud prevention, and security verification.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, home address, or phone number, unless you voluntarily provide it when contacting us via email.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on the following legal grounds to process your information:

• Legitimate Interest: To operate, improve, and secure the App; to show relevant advertisements that fund the free version; and to analyse usage patterns for product development.
• Consent: When you grant permissions (e.g., notifications, storage) or opt‑in to rewarded ads, we process data based on your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time via device settings.
• Contractual Necessity: To fulfil Premium subscription purchases and provide the associated features.
• Legal Obligation: Where we are required to retain or disclose information to comply with applicable laws or regulatory requests.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain core functionality – timer, tasks, and ambient sounds
• To save your preferences and settings
• To process Premium subscriptions and purchases via Google Play Billing
• To display relevant advertisements in the free version
• To analyse app performance, fix bugs, and improve stability
• To measure and understand user engagement with features
• To respond to your support inquiries and deletion requests
• To ensure security and prevent fraud

5. Data Sharing and Third‑Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. However, we engage trusted third‑party service providers to operate the App:

• Google Play Services – app distribution, billing, and authentication. Google Privacy Policy

These third parties are contractually obligated to process data only for the purposes we specify and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. They may retain data according to their own retention policies.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Next Flow Apps, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data: All task data, session history, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data remains on your device until you delete it (e.g., by clearing app storage, uninstalling the App, or using in‑app deletion controls).

Third‑party data: Data processed by Google Play, AdMob, and Firebase is retained according to their respective policies. We do not store any personal data on our own servers.

Support communications: If you email us, we retain your email address and message only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, comply with legal obligations, or protect against fraud. You may request deletion of any support correspondence by contacting us as described in Section 11.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Since most data is stored locally, you can exercise many of these rights directly through your device settings (clear app data, uninstall). For data held by third‑party providers or support emails, please contact us via the email in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt‑out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell any).

8. Children's Privacy

Temvica is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at nextflowapps@gmail.com and we will take steps to remove such information.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All network transmissions are encrypted using HTTPS where applicable. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or technology. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, via in‑app notices. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
